Preparation and management of deal flow within the XAI network
Technical Due Diligence of start-ups
Research of market and competitors of start-ups
Research of intellectual property and freedom-to-operate of start-ups
Preparation of board meetings of our portfolio companies

Your Profile

Successfully completed degree in engineering, informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
First networks and experiences in the start-up ecosystem
apprenticeship in industry with high-tech or deep-tech focus
Due to your communicative strength and your distinctive empathy, you are at any times confident in dealing appropriately with all hierarchical levels
Your strengths include a strong organizational talent, a structured and problem-solving approach, and the ability to keep an overview and set the right priorities even in demanding situations
Very good written and spoken German and English skills as well as good knowledge of MS Office applications

Investment Analyst (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

Financial analysis of possible direct investments
Execution of market and competitive analyses of possible direct investments
Analysis of annual financial statements and reports of possible direct investments
Preparation and assessments of company valuations, financial plans and business plans
Support of the due diligence and negotiation process
Preparation of presentations and project documents
Work closely with the technology, controlling team as well as the Chief Investment Officer
Liaison with start-ups, external advisors and auditors

Your qualifications

Successfully completed degree in business sciences
Initial relevant professional experience in the field of corporate or direct investments
knowledge of accompanying corporate transactions, ideally in the German SME sector
Very good knowledge of German and English
Fluent handling of MS Office, especially Excel
Affinity for digital solutions and industrial tech companies
Interest in start-ups and business models of the future

Your Tasks

Proactive support and management of all organizational tasks of the management team
Independent handling of written correspondence and telephone tasks with internal and external business partners
Participation in the preparation of business plans, analyses, research tasks, contract samples, statistics as well as the derivation of decision-making one pagers in cooperation with internal and external partners
Comprehensive responsibility as interface to banks, tax advisors and business partners
Review of invoices, accounting and payment instructions Introduction and maintenance of a systematic and modern filing system

Your Profile

Successfully completed degree in economics, a successfully completed apprenticeship as an office management assistant or foreign language secretary (f/m/d), or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in the field of assistance in a similar environment (asset management, investment companies, real estate companies, etc.)

Initial professional experience in the financial sector (ideally in an auditing firm or a bank)
